RECENT EVENTS

In the spirit of Eid Al-Adha, a generous donor contributed an approximate amount of 200 toys to children. We took it upon ourselves to ensure that these delightful gifts found their way into the hands and hearts of young ones of the underprivileged families that have previously contacted our organization for medication.

Responding to the call for a winter clothes collection on our social media platforms, we collected an impressive amount of 2,350 pieces of clothing, meticulously checked, cleaned, and sorted them by gender and age. in addition to receiving pre-prepared clothing bundles.

During a period marked by the scarcity of milk formulas in the Lebanese market, our team stepped in to acquire around 800 cans of formula milk. We established designated distribution points in Nabaa, Tareeq Al-Jadidi, and Mrayji areas, ensuring that these vital supplies reached needy families that have usually contact our organization for medication.

Despite lacking sponsorship, we made a resolute decision to stand by our community during Ramadan, especially in the face of soaring food prices. Our own board members contributed funds, enabling us to prepare an approximate amount of 370 food boxes. These boxes, delivered a week before the holy month, contained a diverse array of essentials, including dates, milk, sugar, flour, salt, rice, pasta, oil, and various types of beans.

Building upon the success of our winter clothes initiative, we received voluntary clothing donations on a substantial scale. This abundance prompted us to organize another clothing distribution. The event unfolded in the parking lot of our organization's headquarters, in collaboration with Choueifat Municipality. We joyfully distributed over 3,000 pieces of clothing, along with toys, bags, shoes, and stationery, to patients registered in our organization and their families.

Driven by the spirit of national unity, we celebrated Easter in a truly unique manner. Beyond the usual sweets and bunny chocolates, we distributed a package that included a bag of bread loaves, a bag of salt, and a water bottle to each of the 500 patients who visited us on that Saturday. This was in addition to providing them with their essential monthly medications.

Among all the events we have organized, this one stands out as the most joyous and dear to our hearts. Children of our registered patients, who might not have had the opportunity to celebrate, enjoyed a day filled with laughter and delight. They received bracelets, had their faces painted, and had memorable pictures taken at the entrance. The festivities continued with various games, and a scrumptious lunch was served. Refreshing drinks and winning toys added to the fun.

In our belief that every living being deserves assistance, we participated in the Beirut Bark event. During this event, our team generously donated four boxes of feline-friendly medications and equipment to organizations dedicated to rescuing stray dogs. These organizations not only provide care for these animals but also train them through medical programs to detect conditions such as diabetes and autism.

One of our proudest moments came when LEMSIC approached us for a collaboration to organize a free medical day. The inaugural event took place at Baalbeck Governmental Hospital, where patients from nearby areas received comprehensive physical examinations by LEMSIC doctors. Our team took charge of the pharmacy section and distributed over 1,300 medicine boxes free of charge. Due to the tremendous success of the FMC in Baalbeck.
